THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR DECK

A matter of feel.

Core, thickness, dimensions and finish make each deck different. Compare the options, then choose with a physical sample in hand.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

Look beyond the weight.

Paper weight and plastic thickness describe different properties. The finished sample is the best way to compare handling.

Material availability and suitability depend on the final specification. A stock name alone does not establish approval for casino use.

SURFACE & FINISH

Choose how the deck handles.

Combine a material and finish as one specification. Confirm their compatibility during sampling.

01 / SMOOTH

Smooth surface

A clean surface for crisp artwork. Assess glide, grip and dealing feel on a finished sample.

02 / LINEN

Linen texture

A textured paper-card option. Compare the feel and the way the finished deck spreads.

03 / VARNISH

Matte or gloss

Discuss the desired sheen and coating. Consider readability under your venue’s lighting.

BEFORE YOU APPROVE

Put the sample
through its paces.

Evaluate the complete deck in the environment where it will be used. Share any venue-specific acceptance criteria at the start.

  • Compare face and back registration across the deck.
  • Inspect edges, corners, opacity and surface consistency.
  • Review index readability under table lighting.
  • Check deck count, packaging and identification details.
  • Test with the intended shoe or shuffler; compatibility must be validated for the specific equipment.
